Holo, my name is George Cuevas and I’m a former real estate agent who was just looking for a better way to market my business online.
So I went to Best Buy, bought a video camera and created our first marketing videos in 2008. Few people in real estate and in business were doing video back then and it helped our team over 1,500 transactions during the real estate crash years.
Then, I traded in my real estate license for a video camera and went full time into producing, editing, and distributing marketing videos. Below is a Behind the Scenes look at the creation of one.
My Real Estate Years (2007 – 2018)
I saw firsthand how powerful video was and in 2014 I stopped selling real estate and went all-in on becoming a real estate videographer and photographer.
From 2014 to 2018 I shot just over 2,500 virtual tour videos and photographed over 3,000 real estate listings for a small group of about 50 agents. Through my digital marketing work I was able to help many of them double, triple, and in some cases quadruple their businesses.
Then in 2018, I began to discover that I could also help non-real estate businesses with their video marketing, plus me and my girlfriend were tired of Chicago winters.
So we moved to Southern California and ElGuapoVideoMarketing.com was born.
I got lucky and found out that I really loved being behind a camera and computer shooting and editing marketing videos…

It’s important for a videographer to have a core philosophy in marketing.
You can be the most talented and skilled videographer in the world, but if you don’t understand the basic fundamentals in what it takes to gain the Attention and Interest of a videos viewers, then those skills won’t do you much good.
Shooting and cutting videos is the easy part and the hard part is creating something that people actually want to watch, and then getting them to take action after watching it.
The best way to accomplish this is by creating something called, Infotainment.
Deliver great content, make it interesting and informative, and you’ll have a better chance of getting someone to fill out a form on your website, or press the BUY NOW button.
When I’m not behind a camera shooting, I go on stage and train entrepreneurs and salespeople about video marketing…
I love public speaking and training.
It’s an unbelievable experience to be able to share everything you know about video marketing with a room full of people who want to learn it.
